Erin Reardon

Erin is the founder of Empower Physio, which she started in March 2021. She completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in 2015 and a Masters in Continence and Pelvic Health with Distinction from Curtin University in 2023. She has since been recognised as a Titled Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist by the Australian Physiotherapist Association.

Erin is passionate about learning and using her knowledge to improve the quality of life of her patients. Erin believes the best part about her job is the feeling of satisfaction knowing you have helped some one.

“It is such a gift to be able to hear some-body's story and then use my skills to be able to problem solve and work through the issue with them.”

Erin grew up in the close-knit community of Temora in rural NSW. After graduating University she has worked in a mix of private practice and hospital settings. Erin has proudly called Port Macquarie ‘home’ since 2019 and enjoys spending her downtime with her husband (James), baby boy (Lachie) and puppy (Abbie). She will officially return from maternity leave in May 2025.

Cianna Slenders

Cianna joined the Empower Physio family in 2024. Born and raised in Western Canada, Cianna graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2021. Cianna has also completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of Calgary in 2017.

Cianna’s passion for women’s health, combined with her ability to make her patients feel heard and at ease make her a perfect fit for the Empower Physio For Women team.

Outside of work, Cianna loves being active in a way that feels good for her body on that day - whether it's swimming, pilates, lifting weights, or pole dancing.

“I try not to take myself too seriously and love to slow down and enjoy the little things in life.”

Cianna has called Port Macquarie home since 2022, and plans to continue to enjoy the beautiful Mid North Coast with her soon to be husband, and their chunky cat, Cream Soda.

Brianna Seward

Brie was an exciting addition to the Empower Physio family in 2024, being the only Port Macquarie born and bred member! She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle in 2020 and has worked locally as a physiotherapist since.

It was obvious that Brie was destined to enter the women’s health world when she saw any study or reading in the area as leisure and enjoyment! She is a keen motivator and always looking to get the best outcomes for her patients.
